Two weeks ago, I shared with you a post about the “politically correct” between France and Mexico. Few days later, one of my cousin told me: “That would be interesting to also have Andrés’ point of view.” Andrés is my husband, and more precisely, the reason why I am li...

In Mexico, we don’t say NO

So, what do we say (if it’s no!)??? Nothing, or we say yes, even if it’s no. I know, it can sound weird. But saying no in Mexico can easily be perceived as an offense, a lack of respect. It’s rude. In France, it is the opposite. If someone doe...

It makes now one year that I went back to Mexico after having previously studied there for one semester. Many of you have wondered: “why deciding to live in Mexico?” and until now, I never gave that much details on the blog. I was just starting to write articles and I...

For discretion purposes, I won’t mention any companies’ name in this article.

After almost a year living in Mexico, I experimented that there’s a gap between job interviews in France and in Mexico, and still today it is something very difficult for me. I share here some...

Life is made of thousands of paths and of thousands of choices. Everytime that you take a new direction, that you chose, a new network of paths is created. Sometimes you look back and you ask to yourself: “What if I had chosen another direction? What would have happene...

This article is based on my own experience and cannot be generalized.

Human Resources policies are different across the globe and variate a lot according to cultures. By leaving France to live in Mexico with my better half, I experienced it and unfortunately not for the...

After 17 months in Mexico, I have had to experience that being a woman in France is considerably different than being a woman in Mexico. Changing of country always confronters you to cultural differences, but I was not measuring how much gender differences could be so...

As many of you must know, yesterday was the first turn of the French Presidential elections. As a French citizen and to be able to vote despite the fact that I am living in Mexico, I followed the procedure to register me before the end of 2016 on the electoral lists of...

If there’s a difference between my Parisian life and my life as “Regiamontana”, it’s the SPACE. In Monterrey, everything is bigger than anything that I knew before.

I haven’t always lived in Paris, I moved a lot and I have lived both in apartment or house. As far as I r...

Hello everyone. I must apologize to you because last Monday I skipped La Crónica del Lunes. Actually I skipped a bit the blog because of my busy Parisian trip. But here I am: A French is Mexico is back!

And today I want to share the incredible experience that I lived du...
