Two weeks ago, I shared with you a post about the “politically correct” between France and Mexico. Few days later, one of my cousin told me: “That would be interesting to also have Andrés’ point of view.” Andrés is my husband, and more precisely, the reason why I am li...

In Mexico, we don’t say NO

So, what do we say (if it’s no!)??? Nothing, or we say yes, even if it’s no. I know, it can sound weird. But saying no in Mexico can easily be perceived as an offense, a lack of respect. It’s rude. In France, it is the opposite. If someone doe...

It makes now one year that I went back to Mexico after having previously studied there for one semester. Many of you have wondered: “why deciding to live in Mexico?” and until now, I never gave that much details on the blog. I was just starting to write articles and I...

For discretion purposes, I won’t mention any companies’ name in this article.

After almost a year living in Mexico, I experimented that there’s a gap between job interviews in France and in Mexico, and still today it is something very difficult for me. I share here some...

Today is the World Oceans Day. This a day to increase our awareness about damages that us, human beings, have caused to our planet. Oceans provide half of the world’s oxygen, regulate the global climate system, and directly support the life of nearly 50% of all living...

After 17 months in Mexico, I have had to experience that being a woman in France is considerably different than being a woman in Mexico. Changing of country always confronters you to cultural differences, but I was not measuring how much gender differences could be so...

If there’s a difference between my Parisian life and my life as “Regiamontana”, it’s the SPACE. In Monterrey, everything is bigger than anything that I knew before.

I haven’t always lived in Paris, I moved a lot and I have lived both in apartment or house. As far as I r...

January 23, 2017

Dear readers, it has been a crazy Parisian week.

After having been to the Hergé exhibition, I pursued my hungry of culture with Mexique (1900-1950), an exhibition about Mexican Modern Art.  From a pure subjective point of view, I would say that I haven’t been sensitive...

December 2, 2016

Christmas is coming (even if we still have some days at 30°C…) and it means one thing: family, posada and…tequila. And yes, in Mexico instead of having champagne we party with tequila! This is the opportunity for me to talk to you about this alcohol that worldwide evok...

November 2, 2016

Día de Muertos or “Day of the Dead” takes place every 2nd of November and is recognized as intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

If Mexico is highly catholic, due to its Spanish roots, the country is also printed by the prehispanic indigene cultures where...
