It makes now one year that I went back to Mexico after having previously studied there for one semester. Many of you have wondered: “why deciding to live in Mexico?” and until now, I never gave that much details on the blog. I was just starting to write articles and I...

May 23, 2017

Lately, I wrote an article about how it is so different to be a woman in France compare to be a woman in Mexico. I talked a bit of style, stating that the fashion conception is distinctive between both countries and this is what naturally gave me the idea of an article...

If there’s a difference between my Parisian life and my life as “Regiamontana”, it’s the SPACE. In Monterrey, everything is bigger than anything that I knew before.

I haven’t always lived in Paris, I moved a lot and I have lived both in apartment or house. As far as I r...

Christmas has passed and we just entered in the year 2017. This time I stayed in Monterrey but one year ago, I did a wonderful trip in the center of Mexico. It was just after my short week in Tulum. With the blog, this is the opportunity to go back to the past and shar...

December 12, 2016

Dear readers, today some of you will may be surprised by the critical tone of my chronic but I want to keep my blog authentic and therefore I cannot only talk about colorful traditions. I am an expatriate, even more, a migrant. If it’s sometimes a wonderful experience,...

October 3, 2016

Today I decided to talk about Paris. It makes a while that I think about it because “A French in Mexico” is not only about my new life in the Aztec country. This is also about the concept of expatriation/immigration itself, so this is also about my origins.

It’s not a...

September 19, 2016

Last week I was given the opportunity to attend to probably one of the most beautiful show that I ever saw. The current discourse that states that there is no culture in Monterrey makes me feel so surprised to have lived this amazing moment. And I suddenly realized tha...

September 11, 2016

Monterrey started to see the birth of the rooftops trend as it is the case in most of European cities. The influence comes directly from the US and this is super cool! Let’s think about it: having a nice drink at the end of the day, in a place surrounded by a killer la...

Monterrey...such a curious city. Here are some facts about Monterrey: this is the capital of the Northeastern state of Nuveo Leon and the 3rd largest metropolitan area in Mexico, after Mexico City and Guadalajara. This is a powerful economic center with a strong indust...
