Second stop of my Easter road trip: Izamal, little village that we decided to explore before arriving to Valladolid at night. If you want to have a break on the road this is ideal because it’s half distance between Mérida and Valladolid and it’s a MUST DO.

Izamal is a “...

After having visited San Miguel de Allende, we took the road to Guanajuato, the capital of the eponym State: its historic center is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

One year ago, I went for a week end to La Mesa del Oso (literally “The Bear’s Table”) which is a place totally lost in the mountains, located after the small village of Laguna de Sanchez.

From Monterrey by car, you need easily 3 hours to reach the destination. The exper...

After one day in Peña de Bernal, we took the direction of mi querido San Miguel de Allende. It was the first time I was going there and I definitely felt in love with this small city. It is colonial, it is colorful, it is cute, people are nice and you will find many in...

As I was staying in Querétaro, I spent one day in Peña de Bernal, a pueblo magico located at 59 kilometers from Querétaro.

Technically, Peña de Bernal is the name of the monolith which overhangs the village of Bernal, but everybody in Mexico uses the name “Peña de Berna...

Christmas has passed and we just entered in the year 2017. This time I stayed in Monterrey but one year ago, I did a wonderful trip in the center of Mexico. It was just after my short week in Tulum. With the blog, this is the opportunity to go back to the past and shar...

Few days ago, a French friend told me that she is going to make a world tour with her boyfriend and that Mexico is on their list. They seem to have already planned a lot, saved money and so on, but she suggested me that maybe I could advise them on what to do in Mexico...
